Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our IT systems to ensure smooth operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
Monitor and maintain the company’s network, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform regular system updates and security checks to protect company data.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Set up accounts and manage user access for new employees.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and document configurations and changes.
Collaborate with external IT service providers when required.
Provide training and support to employees on new technologies and tools.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Experience with networking protocols and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with IT security best practices and antivirus solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under minimal supervision.
Education and Certification:

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus.
